Create an Earning Code Mapping

The Earning Code Mapping page lists existing mapping records, which are sorted by policy name, and enables administrators to map an earning code to a policy. The records can also be sorted based on the Code or Description columns. Only one earning code can be assigned to a policy.

It is not necessary to have an earning code mapping for all policies. For example, a mapping may not be necessary for jury duty. Policies that have not been mapped to an earning code are not included in the exports.

Navigation: Settings > Earning Code Mapping

Note:

In order for the Global Export section to appear on the Settings page, the Enable Company Administration option must be enabled (My Team > select employee > Security tab).

Select Create.
Select a policy from the drop-down list.
Enter a code; this code is an alphanumeric entry up to 30 characters.
Enter a description.
Select Save.
Note:

To edit or delete a mapping, select the action from the Actions column on the Earning Code Mapping page.
