Update Part II - Applicable Large Employer Member Information - Certifications of Eligibility
Review the certifications of eligibility and designate (if applicable) if the ALE is eligible to use the Qualifying Offer Method to report the information on Form 1095-C or the 98% Offer Method.
Update Part III - Minimum Essential Offer Indicator
The Minimum Essential Offer Indicator value is determined based on the percentage of full time employees and types of offer of coverage codes reported by the auto-population feature. - Employer has offered coverage to at least 95% of full time employees.
- 95% of the employees listed under the Full Time Employee Count have an offer of coverage code of 1A, 1C, 1E, 1F, 1K, 1M, 1N, 1P, 1Q, or 1R reported, or have a 2E safe harbor code reported.
- Part time employees who have had their offer of coverage codes imported or manually entered are not included in the MEC indicator calculation or the full-time count, unless they have been overridden to ACA Full Time status.
Employees who have had their Form 1095-C suppressed are not included in the MEC indicator calculation or the full-time count.
