Assign Competencies to Employees

Assign Competencies to Employees

Competency is a term used to describe a behavior that demonstrates sufficient skill, knowledge, or experience when performing a job successfully. Competency types are broad categories that group similar competencies.

Human Resources administrators define competencies on the Competencies page. Performance Reviews provides a competency library, which includes the following five competency types: Business and Organization, Company, Functional, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal.

System-delivered competencies can be used or new competencies can be added/edited to meet your business needs. System-delivered competencies cannot be deleted, however, user-defined competencies can be deleted on the Add/Change Competency page of the user-defined competency.

Managers assign competencies to employees via the Team Competencies page. Employees can view assigned competencies on the Competencies page.
