Assign Required Development Opportunities

Managers and administrators can assign one or more required development opportunities to one or more employees.

Assign development opportunities from the Assign Required Development Opportunities page. Information about selected employees is available for review, including name, employee number, full/part time, employee status, hourly or salaried, job title, supervisor, company, and location.

Development opportunities from Learning Management Systems like UKG Pro Learning are displayed with an icon to help you identify the source.

In the case of Brainier LMS or Infor Learning Management, single sign-on access to the learning management system is available from the Career Development feature. Single-sign on access is available in the Things I Can Do area for Brainier LMS.

Navigation:Menu > My Team or Talent Management > Development Opportunities

  1. From the Development Opportunity page, select the development opportunities you want to assign.
  2. From the Actions drop-down list, select Assign . The Assign Required Development Opportunities page appears.
    Note

    You can also access the Assign Required Development Opportunities page by selecting the Employees link in the Required For column.

  3. At Must Complete By, enter a date when each development opportunity must be completed, if applicable.
  4. Select the Select Employees button. The Find Employees page appears.
  5. From the list of employees, select the employees you want to assign and require the development opportunity.
  6. Select Save. The Assign Required Development Opportunities page appears with the selected employees.

  7. Confirm the list of employees. When enabled, the Talent Card icon appears next to each employee's name, allowing you to easily view employee information. Select Save again. The Development Opportunities page appears with the updated information.
    Note

    The Talent Card can be enabled in the Talent Management Settings page (Menu > System Configuration > Talent Management Setup > Edit).
