Assign Team Competencies

Provides step-by-step instructions on how to assign team competencies to employees.

Assign Team Competencies

Assign Team Competencies

Competency is a term used to describe a behavior that demonstrates sufficient skill, knowledge, or experience when performing a job successfully. Competency types are broad categories that group similar competencies.

Team competencies are defined in the Competencies page (Menu > System Configuration > Business Rules > Competencies). Performance Reviews provides a competency library, which includes the following five competency types: Business and Organization, Company, Functional, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal.

Team competencies cannot be deleted.

Managers assign team competencies to employees using the Team Competencies page (Menu > My Team > Team Competencies). Employees can be removed from an assigned team competency.
