Collaborate on Goal Plans for Employees

Goal Planning

Goal Planning simplifies the goal setting process by providing managers and employees with a single view into all the goals for an employee.

Goals are grouped into goal plans, which are tied to a specific review period. Employees can be added and removed from a goal plan. During the goal setting period, managers and employees collaborate on creating and modifying goals, providing feedback, and approving each goal in the goal plan. Employee Administrators have view-only access to employee goal plans.

Goal Planning Summary

During the goal setting period, employees and managers collaborate to edit and approve the goals in an employee's goal plan.

View and access employee goal plans on the Goal Planning page. Once a goal plan is created and assigned, the Goal Planning page includes the goal plan title, description, total number of goals, goal setting period, review period, and status. Selecting the Title link opens the selected goal plan.

Note

When a review period is used for more than one goal plan, all goal plans for the review period are consolidated into one review.
