Maintain Compliance with Predictive Scheduling Rules
Predictive Scheduling Rules
Many states and municipalities are passing legislation that requires employers to pay out predictive compensation for last-minute changes made to an employee’s schedule.
The solution provides an automated tool that discourages this practice and ensures that bonuses are paid out to employees. Managers need to recognize and manage the Predictive Tags and alerts that appear in the schedule when they make changes that violate the configured Predictive Rules.
Review a Predictive Tag in the Schedule
Managers are alerted to predictive compensation violations in the schedule with informational messages and schedule tags.
Review Predictive Compensation
In the employee’s timecard, you can review the predictive compensation amount that will be awarded to the employee if a triggering violation is not resolved in the schedule.
- From the Employee Summary page, access the employee’s timecard.
- Select the Totals tab to review the compensation.
Delete a Predictive Tag
If your organization allows, you can remove predictive tags so that the employee does not receive the bonus compensation.
- In the schedule, right-click a predictive tag and select Delete.
- Select Save.
Restore a Predictive Tag
If your organization allows, you can restore predictive tags that were deleted accidentally.
- In the schedule, right-click the employee whose predictive tag you want to restore.
- In the employee glance, select More Actions, and then select Restore Predictive Tags.
- From the Restore Predictive Tags slider, select the tags to restore and select Restore.
