Manage Goal Types
Goal types are broad categories that group similar goals. Corporate goals, an organization’s desired results, are usually established upfront, directing employees in accomplishing specific tasks within a given time frame. Goal types must be configured before goals can be associated with them.
Goal types are defined in the Goal Type page (Menu > System Configuration > Business Rules > Goal Type). Performance Reviews provide the following four goal types: Customer, Financial, Internal Business Processes, and Learning and Growth.
System-delivered goal types can be used or new goal types can be created to meet your business needs. Only user-defined goal types can be modified. System-delivered and user-defined goal types cannot be deleted.
