Automatic Shift Breaks
When updating schedules, managers often edit shift start and end times. The solution provides features that automate shift break placement in an updated shift, saving managers valuable time.
Review Automatic Shift Break Adjustments in the Schedule
The solution updates shift breaks in the schedule automatically for managers when they update an employee’s shift length or start and end times.
Use the Assign Breaks Action
The Assign Breaks action in the shift glance adds the correct breaks to the employee's shift with one click.
- In the schedule, right-click the shift to which you want to add breaks.
- Select Assign Breaks.
- Select Save.
Update Breaks in the Shift Editor
The Edit Shift slider provides the option to control break placement when managers update employee shifts.
Adjust Shift Breaks Manually
Managers can easily fine-tune employee shift breaks manually in the schedule, when needed.
