Question Library

The Question Library makes it easy to use common questions in multiple Opportunities, and ensure those questions are consistent each time you use them.

Application questions are presented to candidates when they apply to an Opportunity. You can use screening questions to narrow a pool of applicants. Screening questions are not intended to replace phone or in-person interviews.

Answer Types

When you create a question, you assign one of three answer types: multiple choice, number range, and open-ended.

Although you must select an answer type, you can save a question in the Question Library without providing answers, if needed. Then you supply the answers when you add the question to an Opportunity.

With multiple choice questions, you can add answer choices. With number range questions, you can specify answer limits. Then you can assign point values to weigh the responses. You can also designate an answer choice or number as a disqualifying answer, to automatically disqualify candidates whose answers do not meet your requirements.

Note:

Use knockout questions only for responses that are unacceptable. If you set a response that is less desirable but still acceptable as a knockout question, you risk eliminating good candidates from consideration.

Deletion of Library Questions
