January 2024

These new features and enhancements are available in the January release of the Recruiting solution.

Note:

Some features may not be immediately available, but all included features are set to roll out in the days following this release.

Edit Candidate Email Address

Recruiters and Recruiting Administrators can edit the email address for some candidates from within the Recruiting solution. To be eligible, the candidate:
  • Must be an external candidate who is not in Hired status
  • Cannot already exist in the Onboarding solution or any other UKG Pro solution

First, a Recruiting Administrator must turn On the feature in UKG Pro Recruiting > Settings > Candidate > Edit Candidate Email Address. Once the feature is active, Recruiters and Recruiting Administrators can navigate to a candidate (UKG Pro Recruiting > People > select candidate name), select the (Actions) button next to the candidate's name, and the Change Email Address option. In the pop-up window, enter a new email address and a note for the Candidate Notes explaining why the change is being made. When you select the Change Email Address button, the Recruiting solution sends an email to the candidate at the old email address stating that the address has been deactivated in the Recruiting solution, and an email to the new address with a link to reset their password.

The Edit Candidate Email pop up window. The candidate's current email on file is displayed. There is a field to enter a new email address and a note field to enter the reason for the change. A reminder at the bottom tells you that the candidate must use the new email address to log in. At the end of the text are Cancel and Change email address buttons.

Candidate Status Changes and Process Flow

Before, new hire records were processed based on the status of the candidate when they applied. If a candidate changed status from Active Internal to Inactive Internal between applying and being hired, their record would flow to both the Onboarding solution and the Process Hires feature, creating duplicate tasks for Administrators.

Now, new hire records are processed according to their status at time of hire and the process flow behaves as expected.

Applicant Rank Field on the Candidate Details Page

A Rank field is now available to view and edit on the Candidate Details page (UKG Pro Recruiting > Opportunities > locate Opportunity > number of applicants > select applicant name) in the first section of the page. This number can be edited or deleted, as desired.
