Timekeeping: Breaks and Deductions

Breaks and deductions are often used together to track employee meal breaks and other types of employee breaks. Depending on whether employees manually punch out for breaks, deductions can be configured to automatically occur or be canceled if not required. When punching for meals, the system provides options for rounding the punched times, defining what portion of the break should be paid, adjusting pay, and throwing exceptions based on the length of the break.
