Skills and Certifications Rules in the Schedule
Managers can review the schedule to identify employees with expired or expiring certifications. They can also monitor the schedule for compliance with organizational, or location-based, skill and certification requirements.
- To ensure that best practices and standards are adhered to, Skills and Certifications Organizational Rule Sets automate staff attribute considerations so that managers can monitor schedule compliance with organizational policies.
- Managers can review the Rule Violation add-on in the Schedule Planner to identify whether Skills and Certifications Organizational Rules have been violated in the loaded location. For example, Department A requires a Spanish-speaking associate to be scheduled during certain hours daily to interact with customers. If no employees with that skill are scheduled, a rule violation appears.
The administrator can configure the rules to prevent the schedule from being saved when your organization's required skills and certifications rules have been violated.
Managers can also identify employees with expired or expiring certifications, if configured in the employee's assigned schedule rule set.
