Set up the Post to LinkedIn Integration

UKG Pro Recruiting allows you to publish your opportunities to LinkedIn as a way to attract attention to your job openings.

To complete this task within LinkedIn, you must be designated by LinkedIn as a LinkedIn Recruiter Dashboard Administrator.

Note:

If you activated the Post to LinkedIn Integration prior to November 2022, complete steps 2 through 7. Opportunities published prior to the Post to LinkedIn setting enhancement update will not be affected when the Post to LinkedIn Integration is reactivated. If the Post to LinkedIn Integration is not activated, Recruiters will not be able to modify the details on LinkedIn for the active opportunities published on LinkedIn Job Board or publish additional opportunities to LinkedIn from within theRecruiting product. Recruiters can publish opportunities directly through LinkedIn.

If you have problems with this process, please see the Troubleshooting section below.

  1. Your company purchases Job Slots from LinkedIn and a contract is created.
  2. In Recruiting, log in as a Recruiting Administrator.
  3. In Settings > Integrations > LinkedIn, select Obtain LinkedIn Credentials. LinkedIn credentials must be obtained to enable Apply with LinkedIn and/or Post to LinkedIn integrations.

    Note:

    If the Apply with LinkedIn integration is active, the LinkedIn credentials have been obtained, and the API key is displayed, this step is not required.

  4. To activate the Enable Post to LinkedIn option, sign in to LinkedIn with the email address associated with your Recruiter Contract.

    LinkedIn Sign in.

    1. Select a LinkedIn Contract.

      Select a contract from the list.

    2. Select the default Job Poster to display alongside jobs.

      Select a default job poster using the dropdown.

  5. Set the Enable Post to LinkedIn option to On.
  6. Enter the Company Id and the Contract Id.

    Your LinkedIn Recruiter contract ID is located on the LinkedIn Recruiter homepage. To locate your contract ID, move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage. Your contract ID is listed below your Recruiter contract name in the dropdown.

  7. Select Save Post To LinkedIn Settings.

You can now start publishing opportunities to LinkedIn using UKG Pro Recruiting. This allows candidates to apply for an opportunity using their LinkedIn profile—and allows them to find your opportunities on LinkedIn.

Troubleshooting

If you're experiencing challenges activating the Post to LinkedIn integration settings, first try the following:
  1. In a separate web browser tab login to your LinkedIn account
  2. Open the Recruiter homepage
  3. Refresh the Post to LinkedIn integration settings page (Settings > Integration > LinkedIn) to load the Post to LinkedIn section
