Once an Opportunity is filled and more applicants are no longer needed, you can close the Opportunity to complete the last step of the recruiting process.
Closing an Opportunity is a final action and cannot be undone. For this reason, Recruiters sometimes wait to close the Opportunity until the candidate is hired and begins their first day of work.
You can also choose to leave an Opportunity open even after hiring candidates, to keep it posted on job boards and collect more applications.
