Opportunity Information

Recruiting Administrators can configure settings that apply to all Opportunities.

Navigation: Settings > Opportunity Information

  1. In Featured Opportunities, specify whether to include a list of featured Opportunities in your job boards:
    • On: Display the Featured Opportunities area in job boards.
    • Off: Do not display the Featured Opportunities area in job boards.
  2. In Approvals, specify whether to require approval of new Opportunities:
    • On: Require approval. When you create an Opportunity, you specify which Recruiting users must approve the Opportunity before it can be published. Select a default approval process:
      • Parallel Approval Process allows approvers to review a draft Opportunity simultaneously.
      • Sequential Approval Process requires approvers to review a draft Opportunity in sequence, one at a time.
    • Off: Do not require approval before publishing Opportunities.
  3. In Approval via Emails, specify whether to allow approvers to approve or reject an Opportunity by selecting a link in their approval notification email:
    • On: Allow approval directly from the notification email, without logging into Recruiting.
    • Off: Require approvers to log into Recruiting when approving or rejecting Opportunities.
  4. In Hiring Manager in the Recruiter field, specify whether to allow Hiring Managers in the Recruiter field of an Opportunity:
    • On: Allow Opportunities to use a Hiring Manager user account in the Recruiter field.
    • Off: Require a Recruiter user account in the Recruiter field.
  5. In Hiring Managers in the Onboarding Owner field, specify whether to allow Hiring Managers in the Onboarding Owner field of an Opportunity:
    • On: Allow Opportunities to use a Hiring Manager user account in the Onboarding Owner field.
    • Off: Require an Onboarding Owner user account in the Onboarding Owner field.
  6. In Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), specify whether to allow the use of FTE and Maximum Headcount in Opportunities:
    • On: Opportunities include the Budgeted FTE and Maximum Headcount fields. If you enter values in these fields, the Opportunity closes automatically when the number of hires reaches the FTE or Max Headcount value.
    • Off: Opportunities do not include the Budgeted FTE and Maximum Headcount fields.

    Note:

If your organization uses the Position Automation feature and it is active in the Recruiting solution, this setting defaults to On and is unavailable to change.

  7. In Continuous Opening (Evergreen), specify whether Opportunities can be designated as Continuous Openings:
    • On: Opportunities include the Continuous Opening (Evergreen) checkbox. When checked, the Opportunity ignores Full-Time Equivalent and Maximum Headcount information.
    • Off: Opportunities do not include the Continuous Opening (Evergreen) checkbox.
  8. In Pay or Shift Differential Range, specify whether to allow salary ranges to be used in Opportunities.
    • On: Allow Opportunities to have a salary range and display the Salary Midpoint (from the UKG Pro solution) in the Compensation Guide section of the Compensation tab. Turning this setting On also activates the Pay Transparency or Equity Job Board Statement. Use the radio button to select the Default text or select Custom text to enter your own.
    • Off: The pay rate is entered as a single number on the Compensation tab.
  9. Select Save Opportunity Information.
