Process New Hire in UKG Pro

Once an applicant is hired in the Recruiting solution or a new hire completes their paperwork in the Onboarding solution (depending on your configuration), their information is sent to the UKG Pro solution where you need to complete the Process Hires wizard.

Navigation:UKG Pro > Menu > Administration > Recruiting > Process Hires

  1. From the Process Hires page, select the new hire’s name.
  2. Enter the required information on each tab of the Hire an Employee page. Some details are already filled in with information imported from the Recruiting solution.
  3. Select Save.

The hired applicant is now an active employee in the UKG Pro solution.

Note:

During Launch, your company decided how the integration between the Recruiting, Onboarding, and UKG Pro solutions would work.

If your company selected the first option, to have data flow from the Recruiting solution to the Onboarding solution to the UKG Pro solution, and from the Recruiting solution to the UKG Pro solution, you have two new hire records on the Process Hires page.

Once one of the records is processed using the Process Hires wizard, delete the unused record.
