Recruiting Process Phases and Steps

UKG Pro Recruiting allows you to group your process steps into Phases. Assigning a step to a Phase helps identify the step's position within the overall Recruiting Process.

Organizing your steps into Phases also creates logical groupings which can provide more insight in historical data reporting.

A Recruiting Process is a series of steps. Each step in the process can belong to one of eight pre-defined Phases:

The Apply, Hire, and Decline Phases are required for every Recruiting Process. Each of these required Phases consists of one step. They are added automatically when you create the Process.

In every Recruiting Process, the list of steps begins with the Apply Phase and ends with the Decline Phase. Between Apply and Decline, the Hire Phase and any of the optional Phases can occur in any order.

You can rename your steps, but the Phases are standard and cannot be renamed. Once a Recruiting Process is in use with one or more Opportunities, the step names can no longer be edited.
