Recruiting Processes

A well planned recruiting process helps streamline communication within your organization, and with your candidates.

In UKG ProRecruiting, a Recruiting Process is a set of steps that an application can pass through, from the initial submission to the final decision.

Recruiting Administrators configure recruiting processes for your organization. Then, when creating an Opportunity, you assign one of the available recruiting processes.

You can configure any step to trigger an automatic email, using one of the templates you have set up in Settings > Templates. You can also set prerequisities for a step: for example, you can require a completed background check before the candidate can be moved to the Hire step.

You can set up multiple processes, to cover hiring scenarios for different teams or different types of jobs. For example, if the hiring process involves collaboration between a Hiring Manager and a Recruiter, you might add steps that clarify communication at key points in your process. If the Hiring Manager or Recruiter manages the hiring process independently, you might use a process with fewer steps.
