Specify Prerequisites for a Recruiting Process Step

When setting up a Recruiting Process, you can configure certain steps to require an action such as a background check.

You can specify whether a background check is required for external candidates, internal candidates, or both.

The Apply step cannot have a prerequisite because it represents the beginning of the process.

Note:

You can only make changes in a Recruiting Process that has not been deactivated.

Navigation: Settings > Recruiting Processes

  1. Select the Recruiting Process you want to edit.
  2. Select the Actions menu for the step where you want to add a prerequisite. From the menu, select Add Pre-requisites.
  3. Select the applicant types to which you want to assign the prerequisite, and select Done.
  4. Select Save to save the Recruiting Process.
