Remove a Candidate

Sometimes it is necessary to remove a candidate from the Recruiting solution due to situations such as a candidate's request or organizational policy. This action is taken through Privacy Manager in the UKG Pro solution and cannot be performed from within the Recruiting solution.

Organizations using Privacy Manager with at least one Privacy Manager Request Coordinator and one Privacy Manager Request Approver can use Privacy Manager to remove Candidates from the Recruiting solution. Any user with the Privacy Manager Request Coordinator role type assigned and web access rights activated should navigate to UKG Pro > Menu > Administration > Privacy Manager > New Request to create the request. A user with the Privacy Manager Approver role type assigned and web access rights activated then needs to approve the request. Once approved, the individual's data is erased or anonymized.

Organizations not using Privacy Manager or without the Privacy Manager Request Coordinator and Privacy Manager Request Approver roles assigned need a UKG Pro System Administrator to configure the roles and activate web access rights.
