Configure Onboarding Integration for Rehires

By default, when you rehire an inactive internal candidate in the Recruiting solution, the candidate bypasses the Onboarding solution and goes directly into the Process Hires queue in the UKG Pro solution.

The Send Internal Inactive Candidates to Onboarding setting enables you to send the rehire to the Initial Review step in Onboarding. Once the rehire completes their paperwork in the Onboarding solution, their information is sent to the UKG Pro solution.

Navigation: Settings > Organization

From the Organization page, set the Send Internal Inactive Candidates to Onboarding setting to On.
Select Save Organization.
