These new features and enhancements are available in the July release of the Recruiting solution.

Note:

Some features may not be immediately available, but all included features are set to roll out in the days following this release.

Position Automation

The Position Automation feature allows administrators to manage positions, employees, and associated jobs to facilitate vacancy and headcount management within organizations. The UKG Pro solution can share this Position information with the Recruiting solution. Once activated in both the UKG Pro and Recruiting solutions, Recruiters and Hiring Managers can associate Positions to Jobs when creating Opportunities.

To use the Position Automation feature in the Recruiting solution, a System Administrator must first activate and set up the Position Automation feature in the UKG Pro solution. See the UKG Pro™ Position Automation Resources page, the Position Automation FAQ, and the UKG Pro Position Automation Guide for more information.

Then, a Recruiting Administrator needs to activate the integration in the Recruiting solution by going to UKG Pro Recruiting > Settings > Organization. Expand the Position Automation section, turn On the Enable Position Automation toggle and select Save position automation settings.

Important:

This option is only available if the Position Automation feature is active in the UKG Pro solution.

With the Position Automation feature active, Recruiters and Hiring Managers can create new Opportunities, select a Job as before, and then are taken to a new Select Position tab. Here, they select a Position (set up in the UKG Pro solution) to link to the Opportunity. They can also go back to the Select Job tab to select a different Job or continue without associating a Position to the Opportunity.

Note:

The Position Automation feature in the Recruiting solution is currently only available in English.
Reporting is not yet available for the Recruiting solution.
The Recruiting solution does not support effective dating.
