These are the new features and enhancements for the June release of the Recruiting solution.

Some features may not be immediately available, but all included features are set to roll out in the days following this release.

You can define job Locations that consist of a state and country, or a country only (UKG Pro Recruiting > Settings > Location). These locations are used in the Company Information tab of the Opportunity wizard () for jobs with a Job Location Type of Remote. From the Job Location Type drop-down list, select Remote. At the location field, enter the state and country or country-only location. This change helps identify remote jobs available on a state-wide or country-wide level.

Before, a Recruiter attempting to schedule an Interview with a Candidate using the Calendar Integration after removing the job posting from the Job Boards would encounter the error, "This opportunity is no longer published. Please try another opportunity."
Now, Recruiters can schedule interviews for Opportunities that are Published but not currently posted to any Job Boards without receiving the error message.

A new feature is available to organizations using the Text Communication feature in the Recruiting solution. This new feature sends a one-time welcome message to external candidates who provide a mobile number with their application, but who do not opt-in to text communication. For example, candidates who apply through 3rd Party Job Boards, or those who apply via the Recruiting solution and, during the account registration process, provide a primary phone number but do not select the checkbox to provide an opt-in designation for texting.
A Recruiting administrator can navigate to and turn On the toggle to Enable a One-Time Welcome Message. The message invites candidates to opt-in to text communication with a standard STOP/START message.
The feature is Off by default and is currently only available in the United States.

(June 4th, 2024 update)
The Recruiting solution now supports global date formats in offer letters. This feature is off by default and must be activated by a Recruiting Administrator in . Once turned On, the date defaults to the format of the candidate's locale but can be set to the company's locale by selecting the radio button for the preferred option. By selecting the Allow Recruiters to Override Global Date Settings checkbox, Administrators can allow Recruiters to select their preferred date format during the editable phases of an Offer (see step 4 of the Create an Offer Letter help topic).

Turning On Global Date Settings also gives Recruiters (and Hiring Managers, if applicable) access to five new merge tags for use in offer letters:
The date format on existing offers is not impacted by this change.
Google's Universal Analytics stopped processing data last year on July 1st, 2023. As of July 1st, 2024, users will no longer be able to access Google's Universal Analytics interface and API. All data will be deleted. You may wish to export your data from Universal Analytics before it is permanently deleted. Please see Google's article Google Analytics 4 has replaced Universal Analytics for more information.
