Form I-9

Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, is a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services form. This form is used to confirm an employee's identity and their eligibility to work in the United States.

In the Additional Information box of Section 2, Employer Review and Verification, the five most recent Corrected Signature and Date fields appear (for example, Corrected Signed: Signature 2 10/15/2024). The original Name, Signature, and Date fields remain unchanged. The I-9 Audit report includes all corrected signatures.

Configure Form I-9 Purge Settings
Onboarding system administrators can permanently purge Form I-9s that they are legally allowed to delete per USCIS rules. This feature minimizes the risk of fines during an audit since each Form I-9 with errors may result in a fine. Form I-9s for both terminated employees and canceled new hires can be purged.
Assign an Authorized I-9 Reviewer
Onboarding owners can designate an employee as an authorized Form I-9 reviewer for new hires who are in any status other than Initial Review. The reviewer will have access to personally identifiable information (PII), including Social Security Number, for the person to whom they are assigned.
3-Day Deadline for Form I-9
The 3-Day Deadline page lists employees that have a Form I-9 due date of three weekdays or fewer.
Reverification Page
The Reverification page lists employees that have expiring employee documents and/or receipts. An Export button allows you to export a CSV file of all employees selected on the page.
