- Consent
In accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Consent setting enables you to create a consent policy that New Hires need to accept before they can complete their paperwork in Onboarding. A new hire who does not consent or later withdraws consent will not be allowed to continue the onboarding process.

The Document Library allows an Onboarding administrator to create documents and links that appear to new hires. An administrator can also configure Onboarding to allow new hires to upload documents. In addition, documents can be configured for the Onboarding owner to complete during Initial Review.

The system compares information from an employee’s Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to data from U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Social Security Administration (SSA) records to confirm employment eligibility.

Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, is a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services form. This form is used to confirm an employee's identity and their eligibility to work in the United States.
- Integrations
Onboarding provides integration opportunities with third-party Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- New Hire
New Hire settings allow you to control some of the options available to new hires when completing onboarding.
- Notifications
Onboarding automatically sends email notifications at different points in the onboarding process. A library of system-delivered alerts and reminders is available that can be customized based on your company’s communication preferences.
- Processes
Onboarding processes include a set of tasks to be completed by a selected group of new hires. Configuring a process allows you to streamline the Onboarding experience for various employee and non-employee roles by collecting necessary data only.
- Provisioning
The Provisioning page is where you configure email requests for additional setup for a specific new hire. This ensures that new hires have all the items necessary to do their job effectively on their first day of employment.
